Myers Briggs Type Indicator
Lorna attended the Oxford Psychology Press MBTI course and gained her qualification in January 2000.
The MBTI can be used at all levels in an organisation from Customer Service staff through to Board Level. The exact uses of the MBTI vary from organisation to organisation but the core uses are those of:
- Recruitment as part of an ethical selection process.
- Team Building as it creates a better understanding of the way individuals within a team work and therefore the dynamics of that team. Where there are clashes within a team the knowledge of why an individual approaches a situation in the way that they do can help to mend bridges.
- Individual & Leadership development – the MBTI offers an individual the opportunity to understand themselves better & therefore develop both personally and professionally.
- Organisational re-organisation – in the case of Organisational re-organisation the MBTI can be effectively used in 2 main ways. Firstly, to establish which individuals may be best suited to the roles that there will be available. Secondly, to enable those being made redundant to re-evaluate their career options based on their ‘type’.
Companies who use the MBTI range from Management Consultants, Counselling Psychologists through to huge organisations like British Telecom, British Airways & Cable & Wireless.
Individuals benefit from the knowledge that the MBTI brings them whether it be to help them change career or sort out general issues within their lives. It is very empowering to find out about oneself! Especially if the knowledge gained answers questions or offers explanations about the reactions an individual exhibits.

Massage for tense, stresses employees!

Then why not let our visiting Masseuse relieve that tension and keep your work force happy and productive?
We have 2 Associates who we send in to companies on a day to suit you and your staff. You decide how frequently you would like a visit & how long you would like each massage to last. (Generally each member of staff is allocated between 15 & 30 minutes).
Setting this service up is easy, just give us a call with the dates that you would like a visit & the number of staff available on each day. We will then send you a copy of our Terms & Conditions along with a schedule of appointments for you to fill in. As long as you are happy with that our Masseuse will visit & attend to your tense & stressed staff, after which we raise an invoice & you pay!
Kinesiology/TBM Clinic
Are any of your staff feeling under the weather but don’t have the time to attend their GP? Our Kinesiology Practitioner offers a 15 – 30 minute MOT which will enable the employee to establish of they need to see a GP or if it is a vitamin/mineral deficiency. This is a not a way of selling products. Our Kinesiologist is a Complementary practitioner and has been able to diagnose Diabetes along with the advice to attend a GP as soon as possible for treatment.
Reflexology
Our Reflexology Associate operates in the same way as our other Associates offering 15 – 30 minute clinic sessions for a range of problems like generally lethargy etc. An example being that of a patient who Annette diagnosed as having a urinary infection (which the client denied). Later that day the client received a phone call from the GP surgery asking them to collect a prescription for the Urinary Tract Infection they had (the Gp had asked for a variety of tests to be undertaken a couple of days previously) .
Each of the above therapists is highly qualified, experienced and have the relevant insurance to practice their therapies on your premises.
